In my journal before this, I discussed potentially leaving the site because of their stance on AI art. Well as you may have noticed, I stopped uploading here. I am not sure if that will continued forever, but for now I wont be posting here until they reverse their decisions. When I upload, a lot of my stuff is posted to my twitter no: https://twitter.com/ChayTheWolf. It is a NSFW 18+ account since I post both kinds of content there. I've also been working on a discord channel, but it is not ready yet. When it's done, I'll likely post a lot of my work there. Still trying to find a safe community to upload all of my content to, but for now, this is what I'm doing. I still check here from time to time, so I see your likes and comments (they still mean so much to me).

I am deeply attached to this site. I've made some fantastic friends, learned a lot, and made this place my home. I still scroll back to entries I've made years ago to reminisce about the people I met, and experiences I've had. A lot of the people I used to know deleted their accounts years ago, but I can still see the echoes of their comments which takes me back to a happier time in my life. It absolutely breaks my heart that DA would betray us, their community that has stuck with them through thick and thin, by making and supporting AI "art" programs. It is something that I fundamentally disagree with. Using AI as a way to streamline certain aspects of art is a totally responsible way to use the tool. But using it to rip data from artists without their permission and claiming the product to be your own? That is absolutely not. Hey guys. Just ended up getting a new tablet: A Wacom Intuos. The pen for my Surface had started to lose tracking, so I figured it was time to return to using dedicated drawing tablets; especially since the drawing surface will feel less slick. I'm working on a drawing right now that will serve as its "debut" of sorts. I also start a new job out in Florida in a couple weeks, meaning I'll have less time to draw, but I should still have plenty of time.
